Aufwiedersehen Philipp!
The CLUB algorithm put together the Galal-Holden Dad-Kid pairs and sent shivers down the spines of the Unbibbed supporters. A mix of class, technique, speed and toughness that sent the early odds the Bibbed way.
When Victor, aka Lorenzo Insigne, curled in a low shot into the far post, it looked like it was going to be an uphill struggle for the opposition. Appearances can be deceptive though. Football has many beauties, none like unpredictability. The Bibbed collected composure in no time and produced a 2-2-1 formation of rare efficacy. Giancarlo and Chetan in front of Alessandro let the ball do the talking, stopping strikers and relaunching at once using the minimum energies required. It was no easy task as both Adam and George showed fast feet for both assisting and finalising.
It came soon evident that the war would have been won in midfield and there both Johannes and Chris F acted like generals with a licence to kill inflicting the enemy mortal wounds in rapid succession. Nima was the terminal of such a fine tactical machine and put his mark on the game by scoring once and providing fine passes. Soon the score assumed big yet penalising proportions as the Bibbed had countless chances hitting the post three times. Besides Alessandro and then Chris F producing amazing saves.
The final 7-1 did not prevent the Bibbed fans from cheering them loudly asking for the golden as an opportunity for a fair farewell. That was something they took with both feet when Ben fabulously converted a fine pass from George just inside the small box straight into the roof of the net.
For the first time in the history of Football the Man of the Man award went to a Man who was not in the Match: our multitask Philipp who is (unfortunately for us) going back to Munich. The reason is undisclosed but those quick in connecting dotted lines could not help noticing that both Bayern and the German national team have new coaches eager to make sensational signings.
Philipp had a stellar contribution to our game: is still the top scorer in MGs despite having played only three of them. His left foot is insured by a pool of companies as none would take the risk alone. There were though few clauses to reduce the risk of inibirti: one was to fill the pitch holes which, see pics, Philipp did himself with a smile.
Luckily Philipp will return regularly to London and grace our Saturdays with his exquisite passes and thunder shots. In the meanwhile: Aufwiedersehen!
