A goal fiesta ahead of the big Sunday clash

Ten players assembled in perfect conditions on the pond pitch.

The strongest contingent was provided by Nizar and offspring Ziad and Rania who made a strong contribution to the game, and are a great addition to our talent pipeline while the bibbed team was strengthened by rookie Ishand.

The Colours established an early three goal lead which they never surrendered. But the Bibbed bravely fought throughout, keeping the match an open affair.

Given the size of the pitch and the goals, relative to the number of players, frequent goalscoring was inevitable, despite some determined defending, and almost everyone made it on to the score sheet (the actual goals per person may have been slightly different).

All in all, a highly enjoyable prelude to the big match on Sunday night.
