Germans concede victory in a fierce 5-side game

Today’s match started as a 4-side with a full German side (Hannes, Johannes, Thomas, Philipp) facing a more international one composed by Francesco, Diego, Juliann and Yasin.
Galvanised by the recent performances of their beloved Bayern team, the Germans exuded confidence in spades, and appeared to be the clear favourites for the bookies. But they were the first to concede a goal, finding themselves down 1-0. Moreover, they struggled to gain the initiative. It was clear that they needed more flair and precision on the pitch.
The joint late arrival of Ben and Adam was the opportunity they needed.
Being one goal down, the Germans were entitled to choose the player, as of Article 14.2 of the Football Dads Book of Rules.
After running an AI algorithm that analysed the past performances of the two players in the last five years, the Germans decided to sign Ben. On paper, a rational choice, although some fans were unimpressed and went on Twitter to express some concerns, even creating the hashtag #WhyBenAndNotAdam. Concerns justified by the fact that apparently the algorithm had been written by the same company behind the software that “corrected” the recent A-level results, making everyone unhappy.
On the other side the Internationals, now wearing Bibs, joyfully enrolled Adam, and decided to adopt a new module, the 1-2-3-2. (if you wonder how a team can play 1-2-3-2 with only five players, clearly you have never seen Yasin on the pitch).
As a 5-side game, with the two new entries, the match grew in intensity.
The Germans (now Unbibbed) launched a series of violent attacks but collected very little. They played in a rather predictable way and were not accurate with their shooting, as proved by the countless balls sent on the south side of Kensington Gardens. Only Ben (2) and Johannes (1) managed to find the net, in one case thanks to a gift from Francesco that, as a goalkeeper, had the insane idea of trying to dribble Ben only to lose the ball for him to score easily.
But that was not a problem for the Bibs. Led by a superb Yasin (once again Man of the Match), they showed more precision in their passing and bamboozled their opponents by constantly switching positions from left to right, and making a smart use of the active goalkeeper. This allowed everyone in their team to score at least one goal, with both Adam and Juliann scoring a brace, and Diego, Francesco and Yasin scoring one each. Including the Golden Goal, the match ended with a solid 7-3 win for the Bibs. An undeniable win.
After the match, Hannes, Johannes and Juliann appeared exhausted and unhappy (see picture), or perhaps just worried that tomorrow, in the Champions League final, Bayern Munich might also find it hard. Good thing for them that PSG hasn’t yet signed Yasin.
