Erling Haaland: who are you?

The pitch looked as levelled as a billiard table thanks to treatment by the CLUB chief gardener Thomas. The holes were filled and returfed with new grass: everything was ready for the big showdown. Fans sensed that and were already sitting on the edge of their seats ready for a morning of free flowing adrenalin.
The Bibbed seemed to operate with a bigger budget securing an extra player and a young class double act like Johannes and Khaled surrounded by plenty of seasoned quality: Hossam and Thomas in defence with Ben and Julien in midfield were about the best money could buy in their respective spaces. The CLUB medical and fitness teams worked around the clock to put Francesco back on his feet after last week injury to tantalise defenders.
Against this terrific team it looked like the Colours had a mountain to climb but indeed they turned out to be very good mountaineers.

Paride in goal is an asset every squad wants to secure at any cost : the current rise in the cost of borrowing has not put off the escalation of its price tag as everybody knows he is worth every penny. Massimo can alone hold defence and counter while Giancarlo can create occasions out of nothing. The formidable all attacking Morocco ?? Team Made by Yousuf, Yasin and Mohammad could hurt anyone anywhere anytime. After the stellar career he has had, Yasin is bringing here in London more and more players from Morocco who are quitting their domestic league to pursue glory with FDs and FKs and try to emulate their mentor.
Predictability is not a noun that goes with FDs: while Bibbed enjoyed most of possession they found it hard to put a man in front of goal and when they did Paride duly obliged with a long series of fantastic saves, including a penalty.
The Colours had a bit of Milan’s Sacchi and Barcelona’s Guardiola about their game: they were able to hold the ball with a precise web of passes, as well to counter with the whole team at a speed and with a precision that betrayed the whole week of maniac preparation and the endless nights to watch the video of the opponents.
Nothing was left to change: the ball was given precise instruction and not a single random pass was ever seen. At one point Massimo and Mohammad executed a double one/two on the flank to put the latter in front of goal for the easiest of tap ins. Cuadrado and Chiesa thought no one could do it better than them: not anymore!
Much to their credit the Bibbed were always within touching distance with Johannes and Khaled always threatening Paride and scoring a few to counter Mohammad bonanza but it was never enough: the best they could before running out of time was to drag the score to a 5-7 and then appeal for the golden goal. But unfortunately for them it was more of the same with Mohammad putting his signature also on the golden goal to seal a seven goals tally in one game.
It was no surprise to anyone that while he was signing autographs and smiling for for selfies the fans kept singing: ‘Erling Haaland: who are you?’
