Football is back on 29 March with an exceptional Monday afternoon match

The Prime Minister has spoken. The date is set. Organised sport can restart on 29th March.
As 29th March is a Monday, and considering how hard it would be for everyone to wait six more days to play, the Club has decided that a special match will take place that very afternoon.
Every player is expected to report on Kensington Gardens on the 29th March at 17.30 in full football gear, for kick-off at 17.45. Very conveniently, Summer Time kicks in the day before, which means there should be enough natural light to play comfortably until 19.30 or so.
The news of the Monday match has been received with enthusiasm and relief by Football Dads and Kids, eager to get back on the pitch after months of forced absence, and by the legions of fans that adore them.
“While technically not a Master Game, this match will certainly be a very special one” said Giancarlo, promising to deliver a stellar performance and to write afterwards a commentary worth of the Pulitzer prize.
“This will be the first match of the new decade” noted Francesco, “Some say this decade will be the new ‘roaring Twenties’. Well, as long as we play football, it certainly will”.
