Giuseppe and the chilly Chileans
Conditions were perfect on this pleasant Saturday morning on the Palace pitch.
A selection of regular star players was joined by two friends of Giuseppe from Chile. True to their country’s tradition they displayed excellent footballing skills, and will hopefully come back one day!
Giuseppe opened the scoring with a lovely back header from Andrea’s well looped ball, setting high standards early on.
The game was intense and open. Big chances were created and nice goals scored, but there was also some strong goal-keeping on both sides.
At 7:5 the bibbed showed some signs of strain, and the Colours were able to round it up 10:5.
Overall, a most delightful Summer morning at the Palace!
