Quarantine, fantasy football and the unlikely use of sex dolls

Believe it or not, it has been 10 weeks since the Football Dads played their last match in Kensington Gardens. Is this forced abstinence going to last for long? Possibly not. The Club is confident that the action will soon be back on the pitch. Better to start polishing our boots and ensuring the kit is in order for when we get the green light.
How is football going to change. Hopefully not much, but clearly the post-Covid football should adhere to few new rules to maximise players’ safety and ensure the best possible experience for our fans. Every player is encouraged to get in contact with the Club Scientific Committee to suggest possibile solutions. So far the only option presented to the Committee is to fill the stands with full-size cut-out of our fans as done by Borussia Monchengladbach today, although the proponent didn’t go as far as endorsing the idea to use sex dolls, as creatively done by South Korean club FC Seoul. A quarantine now? I know, it is weird. While most countries are reopening to travel and tourism, UK is taking a different approach and introducing a 14-days quarantine for everyone entering the country after 8 June. If you are abroad, you might want to come back earlier to avoid that. It might not last long though. Considering the controversy of this measure and the attitude of this Government to do U-turns on their own policies, I wouldn’t be surprised if the quarantine is removed shortly after. And by the way, why do we call it quarantine if it lasts 14 days?
Kids win on virtual ground. Call it a generational gap, but Kids have an edge on digital football. Just an edge… but enough to allow them to claim victory on the first ever Virtual Master Game, few Saturdays ago. It was a stellar performance by Andrea against his Dad Francesco over the course of three intense FIFA2020 games. A result he achieved with an epic comeback, after having lost the first game.
Playing with PSG, Francesco/eDad started very well dominating Game1 and winning it 5-4 after extra-time, in a rollercoaster of emotions. The eKids (playing with the blancos) did not despair and got even winning Game2 3-2. The final went down to a final third Game, that Andrea played perfectly, winning it 4-0.
Unfortunately the live streaming had to be cancelled due to an unresolved legal dispute involving the broadcasting rights, however the highlights of all three matches have been saved and can be seen here and on the Club’s official YouTube channel.
